The lab of Holly Van Remmen, PhD Professor of Cellular and Structural Biology is studying the changes in muscle stem cells that occur with age. The labs of Paula Shireman, MD Professor of Surgery and Linda McManus, PhD Professor of Pathology are studying the changes in muscle stem cells with aging that affect skeletal muscle repair and the role of macrophages.
