Dr. Woody Wright is an accomplished research clinician in the field of aging biology. Dr. Wright was exposed to aging research while earning a doctoral degree at the Stanford University School of Medicine under the guidance of Dr. Leonard Hayflick where he demonstrated that in vitro cellular senescence is not controlled by cytoplasmic factors. Following a successful post-doctoral fellowship at the Institut Pasteur Paris, France, Dr. Wright joined the faculty at the University of Texas Southwestern. Since joining UTSW, Dr. Wright has had an outstanding career studying telomeres and telomerase as they pertain to cancer and age-related disease. Dr. Wright has received numerous awards and recognition both by his peers and students, and currently holds the Southland Financial Corporation Distinguished Chair in Geriatric Research.

Dr. David Sinclair is an accomplished scientist and a pioneer in the biopharmaceutical industry.  He earned his PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of New South Wales in 1996 and then held a post-doctoral position with Dr. Leonard Guarente at M.I.T.  In 1999, he became an assistant professor at Harvard University and was later promoted to associate professor in 2004.  Dr.Sinclair has made numerous contributions to the aging field especially with his work in yeast aging, the discovery of the Sirtuins, and the use of resveratrol.
