The editors of the Journal of Biological Chemistry have chosen Dr. Balakuntalam Kasinath's paper on the effects of hydrogen sulfide on kidney cells as one of the top one percent of papers they publish for overall importance.

The International Affairs Committee and the Society for Neuroscience have awarded Dr. Randy Strong's graduate student Margaret Wey a$2,000 travel award to attend the 2012 FENS Forum in Barcelona, Spain!
